We're a mother-daughter duo that loves to travel and explore new places, with american mahjong sprinkled throughout. Join our three-day Mahjong retreat in New Buffalo, Michigan. Designed for players who love travel as much as Mahjong, this getaway combines daily American Mahjong, boutique accommodations, exceptional dining, and free time to explore one of Lake Michigan's most charming harbor towns. A quick escape, just 90 minutes from Chicago via car or Amtrak train.

We will confirm order and send invoice to reserve your spot, a 50% deposit is required and will be invoiced for payment via credit card or Zelle. The remaining balance will be invoiced and due by July 15. For double occupancy or larger room arrangements, please have your roommate(s) confirmed before purchasing your ticket.
Anna lives in Naples, FL, where she and her husband relocated after raising three children. Her interest in mahjong was piqued when she discovered her great aunt's set, but she didn't learn to play until moving to Florida about five years ago. Fast forward to today and she's playing up to three times a week and teaching friends along the way! When she's not at the mahjong table, you'll find her on the golf course, traveling, or spending time with family and friends.
Emily lives in Chicago with her dog, Josie, and near her brother and sister (and SIL!). She has always been a lover of games, and once Anna taught her mahjong a few years ago, she was hooked! This past summer she started teaching and leading leagues at Lily Pad Mahjong Parlor, which has only deepened her love of the game and the community around it. You can find her in the Cubs bleachers, binging Bravo shows, or planning her next trip!
Together, we've built Mahj & Mosey around the belief that Mahjong retreats should be about more than the game. Our goal is to create unforgettable travel experiences where Mahjong becomes the perfect way to meet new friends, relax, and connect.
